Mrs. Alicia

Hi! I’m Alicia!

This is one of my favorite pictures of me with my husband on our wedding day.

I’m a 24-year old Paralegal. I live in Washington with my husband, Tom. We met at Western Washington University and were married on September 1st, 2012. He works as a Mental Health Assistant at a local hospital and hopes to earn his PhD someday. He also writes a blog of his reviews of every Legend of Zelda game he’s ever played. Together we have a daughter named Charlotte and a tabby named Molly.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type 2 in university. It’s been a struggle, but it’s also given me a lot of insight to myself. But this blog is NOT going to be about my mental health issues.

I love my job. I love photography, reading, music, poetry, writing (of course!), movies and sleeping.

My favorite book (more than The Bell Jar) is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

My favorite subject in High School was History, followed closely by English. In University, it was my Introduction to Knowledge and Reality class. Plus, the teachers were awesome for all the afore-mentioned classes.

I am originally from Alabama and hope to move back South someday soon.

I can’t stand Asian food but I love American, Italian, Mexican, and Cajun. Except I hate cornbread, which makes me the world’s worst Southerner ever.

Enough about me! Read the blog… which is still technically about me but it’s way more focused. So, read the blog, please please please!
